100 Thieves x goyo club — Critical Hits

100 Thieves has partnered with @goyo.club for a brand new music archive series called, “Critical Hits”

Goyo club is a collective that turns family-owned businesses across Los Angeles into stages for local and visiting artists, archiving the music and the places that hold the community.

Filmed at Game & Video, a vintage game repair shop run by owner Gina Kim, has served Koreatown for over 25 years. Consoles on the bench, cartridges stacked to the ceiling, and a counter where kids who grew up here now bring their own.

Episode 1 features, @dr.gabba , who built this one-hour set for the room. his own tracks, released and unreleased, next to the soundtracks he grew up on: Sonic R, Bomberman Hero, 1080 Snowboarding, and a Zelda Kokiri forest remix. a producer raised on 90s game music, playing it back inside the shop that keeps those consoles alive.
