earl from yonder, welcome back to the archive. introduce yourself please.

Yonder is back. born in Baltimore raised throughout Maryland, based in Brooklyn, NY. Martyr Gang over everything. this for all the black kids that are different, but authentic to who they are. we don't give a fuck about being judged… we actually support it. we know who we are. they don't. i make all music. i live life. my music is based off mood and i'm fucked up. fucked up about the world's current state. fucked up about how people treat each other. fucked up about how another person thinks pulling another person down gives them more light.

if you had to describe your music as painting, what would it look like?

David with the Head of Goliath.

could you recommend us one artist of any kind from your culture who inspired you the most?

Miles Davis to me was the first Black Punk when it comes to music and the breaking down of boundaries of what is and what can be. The way he lived, created and his outlook on life was different and inspiring to me since i was 12.

if you could perform at any location, real or fictional, where would it be?

Antarctica. someone out there book me! i need to see somn.

if you encounter an alien, alien asks you to play earth music, which song would you like to play?

i would ask em to go to the studio to see if i can make music with em straight up. i know they got some vocals or some production ideas i haven't thought of before. feel me.

authenticity is rare. grow every fucking day. you'll separate yourself from everybody if you just be you.
