welcome back jehmahk please introduce yourself.

i'm Jeh-Mahk. born in Brooklyn and raised in Atlanta, i'm now based in Los Angeles. i represent the minimal house genre and love playing groovy tunes. mostly house and techno is where i reside with hip hop inspirations. the record label Solid Grooves inspired my initial sound the most.

if you had to describe your music as sculpture, what would it look like?

Daniel Arsham Sculpture.

if you had to describe your music as a fictional character, who would it be?

Luffy.

who inspired your journey into music and djing?

my dad and mom were a huge inspiration on me becoming a dj with their vast music tastes. my dad was a vinyl collector and my mom was a raver from the 80's. i got into djing through my hustle in middle school which was burning CDs for my classmates. tbh i'm one of a kind from where i come from, there's not many like myself with the music taste i have. the influences i grew up around wouldn't generally bring you into house music but being the person i am, my tastes have brought me here.

if you could only listen to one song or one album on repeat for the rest of your life, what would it be?

one song for the rest of my life, i always struggle with but probably some type of Toro y Moi. one album for the rest of my life i would easily go Kanye — Yeezus or MBDTF.

if you could collaborate with any artist, living or dead, who would it be?

i would definitely choose to collaborate with Michael Jackson over anybody.

any closing words?

my goal is to share my music tastes with as many people as possible. my dream is to become the biggest DJ i could possibly become. music is on the way faster than you think.
